British Royal Family News says that George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney apparently didn’t know Prince Harry and Meghan Markle very well even though they were given VIP seating at the royal couple’s wedding back in 2018. Here’s what you need to know.
Even though the media has made the assumption that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are apparently tight with the Clooneys, that doesn’t seem to be the case at all. Apparently, George and Amal Clooney did invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to their estate at Lake Como in Italy back in 2017.

Harry and Meghan might have just invited them to their royal wedding as a favor in return. But whether or not the two couples have ever had deep conversations or just lounged around watching premiere soccer on a Sunday afternoon is the real mystery.
According to the Daily Mail, one royal expert and observer Rachel Johnson says that even though the Clooney were given a prime pew next to Lady Carolyn Warren, who is married to John Warren, the Queen’s bloodstock adviser, there really isn’t much of a friendship between them and the Sussexes.
“There’s a story doing the rounds that while Carolyn Bartholomew, Diana’s former flatmate, was waiting for the wedding service to start, she turned to the couple alongside her and asked how they knew Harry or Meghan,” Johnson writes in online publication AirMail. “’We don’t,’” the Clooneys answered brightly.”
Yikes. It’s also been pointed out that George Clooney’s tequila company, Casamigos, might have been one of the sponsors at Harry and Meghan’s wedding reception. Of course, that has never been confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
