There’s a point where ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers understands and agrees with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)’s attempt to protect his daughter and help her without anyone getting hurt, but considering the person Charlotte Cassadine (Ava Kolker) is targeting has a history as a secret agent, he wins the dunce of the year award.
We had a feeling this was going to happen and “General Hospital” Spoilers mentioned it before, and now that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) returned home to find her in the dark holding something that could be mistaken for a weapon and shot her, it’s really going to hit the fan.
The saddest part about this is it could’ve all been prevented. Had Valentin not tried to hide that Charlotte vandalized Anna’s room at the Metro Court she would’ve known and been better prepared.
Instead, Anna did some research and found someone that would want her silenced.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The devil to pay
This mistake is going to have some serious consequences as Valentin isn’t just going to have his daughter fighting to live after being shot by a professional, but he’s going to have to explain to Anna why he lied to her.
As much as he’ll try to spin it, a lie by omission is still a lie.
While he’ll beg for Anna to forgive him, she’ll feel sorry for him and Charlotte. At least, it makes sense for her to feel sorry for Charlotte. Valentin followed some lazy writing and will pay for it.
On the plus side, “General Hospital” Spoilers don’t think Charlotte will die, but this won’t do her any favors as Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)’s programing my become further entrenched.
But with her in the hospital, maybe they’ll finally figure out what’s wrong with her. If only Valentin hadn’t been a fool, but that’s over and done with.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: There’s still someone out there
At least Anna won’t have to worry about Charlotte doing whatever she planned to do to her, but it does pose an interesting question on our parts.
What if Charlotte and the gentleman Anna discovered are working in conjunction thanks to Victor’s meticulous planning?
It’s definitely possible and it would explain why Charlotte was looking through Anna’s chest and the different files.
We were wondering about that, but if she was feeding someone information, then it would make sense as to why she was there.
There’s definitely some promise for this storyline. As long as Valentin is put in the Corner for Unfit Fathers with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
