‘General Hospital’ spoilers pose the question: Should Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) tell Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) the truth about why his son Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) is dead?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: If Lucas Comes Forward, He May Be Putting Himself and Britt In Danger
Sidwell is ready to unleash his wrath, and no one in Port Charles is safe. So, we all know that dirty double-agent Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) stabbed Marco to death.
However, Sidwell currently believes that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is responsible. Yet, we also all know that psychotically stabbing someone 200 times isn’t exactly Sonny’s style.
Not to mention, Sonny wouldn’t be stupid and sloppy enough to kill someone in his own lawyer’s office. The whole idea that Sonny is guilty is absolutely ridiculous.
That said, Sidwell is a grieving father who just lost his son to a horrific and violent crime. Lucas also loved Marco and would want the true culprit to go down for his murder.
If Lucas reveals the truth to Sidwell, he would be preventing an innocent party from being killed by a vengeful but very misguided Sidwell.
However, if Lucas comes forward and admits he pressured Marco into stealing Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) medicine from Wyndemere, Lucas could be putting his own life in danger.
Sidwell may blame Lucas for involving Marco in his plan to help Britt, which could also put Britt in danger. Lucas is likely afraid to rock the boat.
In the March 26th episode of GH, Lucas went to the PCPD and lied to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) during his interrogation.
After Sidwell invited him back to Wyndemere, Lucas told Dante that he and Marco had never discussed Sidwell’s illegal business.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sidwell Could Target Sonny’s Children and Lucas Wouldn’t Want That on His Conscience
Yet, Sidwell may target one of Sonny’s children. He burned down Charlie’s once; what is to stop him from doing it again while Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) is in the building?
After all, Charlie’s grand reopening is coming soon. Sidwell could realize that is the perfect opportunity to send a message and seek revenge on Sonny by harming Kristina.
Or, he may decide to target Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) or Dante since he thinks that Sonny killed his son. Even Sonny’s two little girls could be caught in the crossfire.
If Sidwell’s threats toward Sonny or his family escalate, Lucas may be forced to choose between saving his own behind or listening to his conscience and revealing the truth.
Not to mention, Lucas desperately wants justice for Marco. While punishing the guilty party won’t bring Marco back, Lucas has to realize that coming forward and telling the truth may be his only option.
Cullum is a double agent, which means he betrayed Sidwell and worked for the WSB while teaming up with Sidwell.
Lucas may need to work around the full story and simply start by proving that Cullum is a double agent and can’t be trusted. He needs to be taken out permanently.
Cullum is viscous and evil. Not only did he stab Marco to death, but he also stomped on and destroyed Britt’s Huntington’s medicine. Director Cullum needs to pay for everything he’s done.
The whole situation is a huge mess, and we can only hope that Sidwell soon finds out that Cullum is the monster here, and not Sonny Corinthos.
