Something is going on behind the scenes at ‘General Hospital’ and naturally, both fans and critics want to know what’s going on. After Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) tweeted how thankful she was that executive producer Frank Valentini along with her bosses at ABC and Disney had stepped up to mandate masks on the set of the show, her vocal anti-vaccine co-star Ingo Rademacher ( Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks) has been expressing his views on the matter on social media, too. This has prompted a lot of people to wonder: will everyone on the set of the show be forced to vaccinate or at least wear a mask at all times? And if so, what will Ingo say about it? Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Ingo Rademacher’s Job In Danger?
After Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 after having contracted it from the workplace, Nancy Lee Grahn has been very vocal in calling on SAG-AFTRA to address the issue of working “on a set with unmasked, unvaccinated actors.” She even tweeted the SAG-AFTRA presidential nominees, Fran Dresher and Matthew Modine, to address the issue. “I work on a set with unmasked, unvaccinated actors, because my union thus far @sagaftra has allowed this. Full stop.” This has prompted Ingo to express his own views on the matter so much so that some ‘General Hospital’ fans have even started a #FireIngo hashtag on Twitter.
Just this week Ingo posted an anti-vaccination video from Joe Rogan. He captioned it with: “Make no mistake, this is the fight of our lives. The fight to have the freedom to choose. It has zero to do with your political beliefs or wether you’ve been vaccinated or not. Stand strong America!”
Many of his fans commented on the photo with, “He is standing up for what he believes in and using his voice to do so. No job is worth silencing your truth over. No job. No person. No government. He is standing in his sovereign power as a human to voice what he believes in,” along with, “I am vaccinated but I do believe we all have the right to make that decision especially with this. It’s all new and this really has more to do with then just the vaccine. Thank you for sharing.”
So far the producers of ‘General Hospital’ have not made any comments about the matter.
