Nothing gets ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers going more than fun fan theories, and there’s a good one making its way across social media and we’re going to dive into it a little bit and see what pops out.
The theory is a pretty interesting one as some believe that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is the one that’s been betraying Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
It’s a fun theory but hard to get into given how far back Sonny and Brick go, and it’s more fun to think of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) having been turned against Sonny for others.
But there is reason to think Brick is the one, and it’s come directly from him.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers have been curious what the writers have been up to ever since the first Pikeman deal and Brick told Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to trust no one but Sonny, even him.
It made us think he was onto Dex at the time and the Pikeman shipment was a set up to expose him, but maybe it was Brick giving a hint to Dex about what was to come.
After all, Dex passed Brick’s “thorough” back ground check, which Brick recently told Sonny didn’t show any wire transfers despite Dex already being on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell)’s payroll.
So either Brick dropped the ball big time or he’s been biding his time to let Dex be the fall guy for his attempt to take out Sonny.
We have to admit, it’s not looking too good for Brick when we look at what he’s said over the last year or so.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Brick’s alibi
Of course, this could all go away with the stroke of a pen of hitting delete on a keyboard, depending on the writer’s whims.
If Brick isn’t the one betraying Sonny, and we don’t think he is but we could be wrong, then it’s just judicial rewriting of history and hoping we weren’t paying attention and he’ll help Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) save Dex.
But if Brick is the guilty party, then he may do everything in his power to delay Carly so Sonny can eliminate the threat.
If he does kill Dex, it’ll set Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) off since we doubt Carly won’t tell her, and that means Michael better watch his back.
We don’t see Joss forgiving him or Sonny for killing Dex, and that could open up a whole new series of possible storylines for her.
