‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) doesn’t know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) too well. She thinks that she can get him to believe her stories, but she is about to find out that Sonny means serious business.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: In Deep Trouble
Gladys has finally been found out. She has been gambling all of Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) money away. Gladys was established as Sasha’s guardian after Sasha had a mental breakdown after the death of her baby and her husband.
Gladys got into gambling at the tables of Selina Wu (Lydia Look). She started losing and could not afford to pay all of her bills. Controlling Sasha’s money worked out well for her so she could make her payments.
When Sasha decided she was doing well enough to be able to get out from underneath the guardianship, Gladys panicked. She had to think of a way to keep Sasha’s funds under her control. She enlisted the help of her gambling partner, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).
Sasha was drugged by Montague and it made her have hallucinations. In her fragile state, she ended up stabbing Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). She was sent to Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane. There Montague has continued to drug her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Whistle Blower
Cody Bell finally game to Sasha’s rescue. He had himself committed to Ferncliff and was able to bust her out. When he got her out, he was able to bring light to the crimes of Gladys and Montague. But they still do not have evidence that this happened.
Sasha tried to get Gladys to confess but she just ended up turning Sasha back into the police. But the story is out. Sonny now knows everything and he is TICKED. Gambling destroyed people in his family and Gladys knows better. He plans to stop her in her tracks.
When he confronts her, she tries to pin it all on Cody Bell. She tries to make herself out to be the good person in all of it, but Sonny knows better. Although she is family, what do you think Sonny will do to make Gladys pay for all she did to Sasha? What do you think will happen to her?
