‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have been wondering when the show would have their send off to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) after her passing in May at 70 years old from cancer, and it looks like It’ll be on January 10 and 11.
We’ve been waiting for this like the rest of the fanbase, and with a couple of teases and taking so long reportedly for wanting the writer’s strike to be over, the day is nearly here.

This is definitely going to be an emotional time for us all as we finally get to say goodbye to a firecracker of a character who kept us entertained since her appearance in 1977.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Saying goodbye
We’ve been waiting for this, and it looks like the show is going to do Bobbie and the actress justice in the sendoff, as we’re going to get some returning favorites like her son, Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes).
The process will allow Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to lean on her best friend Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) as they try to find their way through this.
Laura told People.com that the atmosphere was like saying goodbye to the character and the Jackie:
“When we shot the memorial, the entire cast was there. And it wasn’t just for Bobbie, it was for Jackie as well. I mean, walking on set and seeing her photo, seeing all the pamphlets of like when you come to a memorial or a celebration of life, the pamphlet speaking about the individual and who is going to speak, it was bittersweet. It was about Jackie and everyone was so present… It was like we as a cast got to really say goodbye.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Throwing in a mystery
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Bobbie’s goodbye will involve a mystery since that’s the current trend.
A mystery man will arrive at Port Charles with a secret, and it looks like he’s going to send Carly and Felicia to Amsterdam to figure out what Bobbie was working on.
This sounds like she may have been killed, maybe in an accident, which means she could’ve been close to discovering something unexpected, like possibly Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) alive and being held somewhere.
It’d make sense that he could return to say his own goodbye in character, and that would be an interesting balance with Bobbie’s death.
