General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 17 reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has a problem. Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Matsson) has a question. Plus, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) learns something new. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 17: Facing the music
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina has to face the consequences of her actions. Now, we know that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is desperate for an advantage over Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and he does have something Drew wants quiet. Still, we doubt that exposing what he and Nina did will help. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) caught him in bed with someone, and she quickly believed him when he denied knowing what happened. So, why would she believe anyone who tells her Drew slept with Nina? It’s bad leverage and it would only serve to strengthen Willow’s dependence on Drew.
What we do know Nina will pay for is her latest blackmailer’s orders. In the promo, Sonny is asking someone why they would lie about him. We all know Nina’s about to come out hard against her ex to appease Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), whatever medium she uses to go public with this. And Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would definitely be hurt by any statements Nina makes against him. He’d be angry with her, too, and with good reason. We’ll see if this secures Sonny’s downfall.
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 17: Coming soon
Elsewhere, Josslyn’s mission continues. She’s been doing a lot of office work to secure a better way get evidence. It looks like that’s about to pay off. She’s talking to Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) when he tells her the interesting work will start soon. So, it looks like it’s only a matter of time before Joss gets access to his lab. Especially since he seems to be under big pressure by whoever is working with him and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 17: Good question
Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal a moment to reflect. While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is seeing her safely out of the country, Sasha poses a tough question to Jason. She’ll want to know when he thinks about himself. This is an interesting question, considering the scene with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) where she wants family loyalty over his loyalty to Sonny. At least, as far as not hindering her efforts to hurt Sonny.
But will this moment change Jason’s path? It’s been said before that he basically is all about Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and doing their bidding. Now that he has to take full charge of his kid, there will be hard choices to make sooner rather than later.
