General Hospital spoilers for the week of Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 9 reveal we will finally learn who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). However, we’re not sure the fans really care at this point. Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) makes a decision. Plus, the trial brings more drama. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 9: Bad move?
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal the trial continues. From the clips in the promo, we’ll see pretty much the entire list of witnesses Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) submitted testify. However, there are two moments that are going to bring the drama.
One, of course, is Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) being called. He’ll be asked if he’s ever touched the weapon in question. We’re sure Alexis is going to be relentless in these scenes, since there is so much to lose if she fails to acquit Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
However, this might end up being another fail, and it might be mostly Drew’s fault. There’s a clip of him on the stand where he loses it. He yells that someone is going to rot in prison. We imagine that’s not going to be very helpful to Alexis’ defense strategy. And, knowing Drew, if this does backfire, he’ll blame Alexis completely without recognizing he screwed up as well.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 9: Decisions
Elsewhere, Valentin is back on the canvas this week. He’ll tell Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) it’s time for him to leave. Since it looks like she walks in on him preparing to do so, we have a feeling he wasn’t exactly planning to fill her in. But we’ll see. We wonder if this decision is somehow related to Carly arranging that visit with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke). After all, Charlotte now knows where he’s staying. He might be concerned about slip-ups.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 9: Big reveal?
Finally, General Hospital indicate the Drew mystery might finally be solved. For the viewers, anyway. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will share information with Alexis about who actually did it. Most people think that ringtone is going to come into play. And most still believe the culprit will end up being proven to be Willow. We tend to agree with that. They’ve tried too hard, for example, to make Michael look guilty. If he did it, we doubt Drew would have survived, for one. For another, we doubt Michael would risk doing something that would get him locked up and leave those kids in the hands of the two people he wants to protect them from. Most of the other suspects have basically been cleared, too. So, Willow feels like the only viable choice.
