‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the week of Monday, February 19 to Friday, February 23: Enough is enough
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal there is a war in Port Charles that never seems to end. That would be the one involving Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Carly has, of course, had her part in this.
She did basically abandon her mother’s place to run Crimson to really spike the ball on Nina. But it looks like, for Carly, that was the end of this situation. But Drew is obviously still persisting in trying to take Nina down. And it seems Carly has had enough of the back and forth. In the promo, she asks Drew why he can’t just ignore Nina.
That’s a good question. Especially since he had his part in what happened to him. Like not fighting the charges. Or agreeing to be a spy and then doing a lousy job of it! We think at some point, Drew is going to have to get some serious help to get over this new vindictive streak of his, or he could drive Carly away.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the week of Monday, February 19 to Friday, February 23: Help me
In other news, Carly is going to have a busy week. Obviously, she’s going to have the Drew situation to deal with. And now, she’ll have to worry about Josslyn as well. Following Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) unmasking, Sonny had banished Dex.
And now Josslyn is going to beg Carly for help in tracking Dex down. We’re sure Carly will want to help, but we’re not sure there’s much she can do. We see a lot of ranting about Sonny ahead from Joss, and we hope Carly will be able to calm her down.
Like it or not, they did betray Sonny. And that does have its price in the crime world. We just can’t get over how everyone basically knew what Sonny does and have an idea of how it works. But as soon as he was no longer with Carly, it became completely unacceptable.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the week of Monday, February 19 to Friday, February 23: Opportunity knocks
Finally, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Anna will reach out to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). We assume, given his criminal past (and the things he still has been involved in), she’ll think he can be a lead.
She’ll likely want to question him to see if he has any insights into who might be targeting mob figures. We can see him going on about how he’s not part of that world now, but Anna will likely counter if he’s as reformed as he says, he’ll want to help save others from being killed—even if they are criminals.
And that would mean looking back to see if there’s anything he ever heard or saw that can point to who’s behind these attacks.
