‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3 reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) makes more plans. Elsewhere, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) meet up. We’ll also see Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) putting the pieces together. Here’s what you need to know.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3: Next level

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Valentin wanted Sonny out of the way. So, he messed with Sonny’s medication. It seemed he and John Brennan (Charles Mesure) were going to let Sonny fall apart and make big mistakes that would lead to his undoing.

However, it seems Valentin has something much worse in mind now. He and Brennan discuss a plan to set Sonny up. This will involve taking out Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and making it look like Sonny did it. Under normal circumstances, this could never work.

But with Jason’s half-confession to Sonny, Jason created a situation where Sonny wanting to take him out would be believable. There’s one thing that could possibly complicate this idea, but we’ll get to that in a minute.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3: Support system

Speaking of Sonny, he really doesn’t have many people left. General Hospital spoilers indicate Dante and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) are among the very few left who still support Sonny. It’s the former who offers Sonny support the week of Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3.

The promo shows a clip of Sonny and Dante together where Sonny says Dante is the only one in the family he can trust. We’re not sure what to make of that.

We really hope that scene with Kristina and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) doesn’t lead to Kristina confronting her father and possibly turning her back on him. Hopefully, he just means he can share things with Dante that he can’t with Kristina.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For the Week of Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3: Putting it together

Finally, Carly realizes something must be up with Sonny’s meds. In the promo, she accuses him of thinking everyone is out to get him. She cuts herself off and says, “Oh, my God.” So, we’re guessing she stopped by to see him after that chat with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

We imagine once she brings up the idea he’s off his meds, Sonny will insist he’s taking them faithfully. We’ll see if Carly throws the idea of tampered meds out after that. If she does and they look into it, this could be the thing that messes up Valentin and Brennan’s plan.

General Hospital spoilers Carly has a realization GH

To be fair to Sonny, his attitude started before the med switch and with good reason. He knows about Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hiring Dex to spy/gather evidence. Which turned to being paid to protect Sonny. And now, Dex is joining the PCPD.

He knows Carly kept silent about it all, and that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have changed their attitude towards him. Plus, Jason admitting to working for the Feds without telling him the real reason.

So, it’s perfectly reasonable for him to feel everyone’s against him. And he doesn’t even know yet that Anna is not only building a case, but wants his own niece to prosecute it. It’s become a free-for-all with Sonny and he obviously feels it.
