General Hospital spoilers for Monday, January 5 reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) makes a decision. Meanwhile, the courtroom drama continues. Plus, is Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) about to make things worse? Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, January 5: Goodbye?
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura was horrified to learn about Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) encounter with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Especially the implied threat against her grandson. This will lead her to want Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to take that offer after all, for the sake of getting Ace Cassadine (Karis & Kieran Barry) out of harm’s way. We have a feeling Kevin will object, as teasers say Laura stands her ground. Since Lindstrom has a prominent role on Beyond the Gates, we have a feeling Laura is going to win this battle.

In other news, the trial continues. And we assume from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) reaction in the promo clip, he is pleased with how her new strategy is working out. Especially since Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is desperate to find Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell). Of course, there is a very good reason he’s looking for her. And it shows that a certain Davis girl hasn’t learned her lesson very well when it comes to impulsive behavior and bad choices.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, January 5: Seriously?
Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal Kristina makes an offer. In the promo, she’s telling Jacinda she needs to leave town right away. So, we assume she’s going to offer Jacinda a lot of money to do it, as she’s worried about how Alexis’ questioning of Jacinda will go. However, we think this is one of Kristina’s worst moves. First, she snuck a peek at confidential information that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) begged her to keep quiet about.
Second, this could backfire badly. The other side has the list of witnesses already. We saw it get delivered last time, and Jacinda was on it. If Jacinda suddenly disappears, that is not going to look good for Michael. Which is the exact opposite of what Kristina wants. That will just lend more credibility to the idea Michael paid Jacinda to be his alibi. Which, if Alexis succeeds in acquitting Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), the prosecution will take everything Alexis put out there and the perception of Jacinda’s disappearance and run with it.
