General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 23: Can’t win
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt’s backed into a corner. We seriously can’t with how Britt can’t seem to win. We’re sure GH is going to look kindly on her leaving—again. Not to mention, she’ll cause a scene to get Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) away from her for his own good.
The thing is, Jason is suspicious. As he should be, since Britt just literally asked him out and went on about wanting to be on equal footing by paying him back for that dinner debacle with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). And he’ll be even more suspicious when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) goes on about how Britt basically came in looking for a fight. We’ll see if Jason can manage to help Britt out of this situation.

Elsewhere, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) turns to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) for help. Obviously, she’s worried about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and has decided it’s time to get someone else involved. We get the instinct, but as we mentioned, we think her good intentions will be a big mistake. Especially since it looked like the abductors are wondering how long she’s worth keeping around. If Nathan—or whoever he really is—is compromised, that’s going to get back to those calling the shots. And they won’t want more scrutiny than necessary.

In other General Hospital spoilers, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Chase discuss their future. Since Chase is looking at a lot of free time on his hands, it seems he’ll want to focus his energy on his personal life. He’s going to bring up the idea of moving ahead with an adoption to Brook Lynn. We’ll see if she’s on board. She was hesitant before, but not that things are better between her and Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), she might agree it’s time.

Finally, Joss might have goofed. She was told explicitly to avoid Wyndemere and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) by Jack Brennan (Chris Mckenna). But she not only sought Lucas out last time, she accepted an invite for wine at Wyndemere. And we think it gets worse.
In the promo, Ava Jerome (Maura West) seems to think she interrupted Joss. So, it sounds like someone was snooping and Ava caught her. She’ll be in a huge mess if anyone else learns what she was doing, so she better hope she can sweet talk Ava into keeping silent.
