‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that things are already getting bumpy for TJ Ashford (Taj Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) in their surrogacy journey with Molly’s sister, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). Although the current source of their difficulty is rather surprising.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Wanting a Baby
GH’s Molly and TJ have been wanting a child and their hopes and dreams were seemingly shattered with the news of Molly’s infertility. She suffers from endometriosis and there was no way that she could carry a baby. Instead of looking into adoption, Molly and TJ decided that they wanted to pursue surrogacy.
They interviewed several candidates and chose one. Molly’s sister, Kristina, offered to be their surrogate, but they turned her down. They had concerns about a family member being the surrogate and so they investigated other options. Kristina can be kind of intense, and something about her offer put them off.
They chose a surrogate and she got pregnant. While things looked like they were on the right path, their hopes crumbled when she had a miscarriage. This was very difficult for them. Whenever they get their hopes up, they crash again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Was Kristina the Right Choice?
While the couple thought that they should just put the journey on hold, Kristina told them they shouldn’t wait. She offered again to carry their baby for them. They decided that they have to take any and every opportunity to see their dreams come to life, and they said yes.
Molly and Kristina’s mother, GH’s Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), expressed her concerns about this to Molly. Kristina isn’t aware of how pregnancy will change her and how difficult it may be to give up the baby she has carried to her sister.
She warns Molly about this, but Molly has stars in her eyes. She is too excited about being able to finally become a mother.
After Kristina became pregnant, the couple was so thrilled that it seemed that it could be smooth sailing. But there is already trouble brewing and it is from a surprising source. TJ is suddenly critical of the way Molly is living.
She is supporting her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), whose life is in danger. To TJ, this is unacceptable because his baby is in danger. He is becoming critical of Kristina’s choices and there is a long way to go in this pregnancy.
