‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may have a real future together.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Is Only With Brennan to Get Revenge on Him
We saw the hurt look on Valentin’s face in the April 9th episode of GH as he watched Carly and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) kiss while he hid outside.
It’s obvious that Carly is only with Brennan so that she and Valentin can get revenge on him. She’s playing Jack like a violin while he believes she loves him and remains completely in the dark about the fact that Carly knows he recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB.
However, Carly and Valentin have big revenge plans for Brennan. Valentin knows this, but it was perfectly clear that he was still insanely jealous when he saw Carly kissing Jack.
In fact, he looked downright heartbroken. Could this potential supercouple actually work if Valentin steps up and admits that he’s genuinely falling for her?
In today’s episode, he went as far as admitting that he no longer wants Carly to string Jack along. That was huge. Yet, we saw that Carly still has every intention of doing so.
Brennan had also risked his position at the WSB to get Carly the information she had asked for about her BFF, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and his whereabouts.
Jason is being held at a WSB black site somewhere near Indonesia. When Carly demanded to speak with Jason, Brennan shut her down quickly. It’s clear there is only so far he can go, given the extent of his allegiance to the WSB.
Did Carly lead Jack upstairs to her bedroom to try to give him an extra push, so he could find a way to let her speak to or even see Jason?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Clearly Carly Wants to be with Valentin and Valentin Wants to be with Carly
When Carly and Jack hit the sheets, she envisioned that it was really Valentin lying with her in bed, instead of Jack.
All this is a very clear indication that Carly and Valentin have fallen for each other. So, why won’t Carly get it over with and confront Brennan about what she knows he did behind her back?
Valentin couldn’t even handle being in Carly’s home when he knew that she and Jack were getting intimate right above his own head.
When will the charade end? We have to wonder if this will even be worth it in the end for Carly and Valentin to follow through with their revenge plan against Jack.
Valentin was so crushed by knowing that Carly was with Brennan that he had to leave the house. Valentin and Carly have developed a very strong bond, and neither wants their steamy hookups to end.
Additionally, Carly and Valentin really understand each other. They both value family, honesty, and loyalty above all else. There is so much potential for them to move forward, but Carly’s single-minded mission to make Jack pay may be holding them back.
Fans seem to be enjoying the unexpected chemistry between Carly and Valentin, and the consensus seems to be that Brennan is a snake in the grass.
At this point, should Carly just be honest with Jack and call it quits so she and Valentin can have a real chance at happiness?
