‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicates that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is trying a new tactic. He is trying to help Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and has been unsuccessful. Everything he has tried has been unsuccessful, so it is time to go a little crazy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Strange Circumstances
Sasha went through a lot with the death of her infant son and her husband, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). She ended up with a substance abuse problem and went off the rails more than once. Her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Borroughs), was given the role of guardian over Sasha.
Sasha has been working hard to get clean and to make good decisions for herself. She got a stable job at Deception and things were going better for her. She decided that she wanted to pursue getting out from under the guardianship. To do so, she had to see a physiatrist at the hospital.
It turns out that Gladys is not too keen for Sasha to become independent. Gladys has a huge gambling problem, and she owes a lot of money to Selina Wu (Lydia Look). As long as she can have access to Sasha’s funds, then she can pay her bills to Selina. If that source of money is out, Gladys is in deep trouble.
Glady’s friend and gambling partner, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) has been drugging Sasha. She’s so unstable that there is no way that a judge will dissolve the guardianship.
Under the influence of drugs, Sasha stole from a store and even stabbed Cody, thinking he was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). She has been committed to the Ferncliff Hospital for the Criminally Insane and is continuing to be drugged.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Who Will Help Sasha?
Sasha keeps getting dealt the worst hands. She needs to get out of the hands of Gladys and Dr. Montague. They need to be held responsible for their actions. But who is going to save Sasha?
Cody suspects Gladys and tries to go visit Ferncliff, but he can’t get in. He even tries to sneak in and is foiled. His friend, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) also thinks things are fishy.
But she can’t prove what is going on either. All they have right now is the feeling that something is terribly wrong with Sasha and that Gladys is at the bottom of it.
To try to “beat” Gladys, Cody decides he has to “join” the crazy folks at Ferncliff. That way he could get in and see Sasha. He could try to help. He goes nuts to try get it to happen, but Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Mac Scorpio (John Yorkin) suspects that it is all on purpose.
Will this ploy work or has it already failed? If it has failed, can Cody get Dante and Mac to actually help him and Sam find out what’s going on with Sasha?
