‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicates that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) doesn’t know how to get ahead of her grandmother, Tracey Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Her grandmother is going to outwit her every time. How can she free herself from her grandmother’s schemes once and for all?

GH’s Tracey Quartermaine is a dangerous person to go into business with. Brook Lynn needed some help. She wanted to help her boyfriend, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), to get his job back at the PCPD.
Tracey says that she was the one who got the Board to reconvene to discuss the case he presented. He convinced them to reinstate him, but she is the one who got them to meet.
Because Tracey did this, she kept Brook Lynn under her thumb. She made Brook Lynn work at Deception for her. While she worked there, she also put the pressure on her to collect secret documents about their new product, the Deceptor.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can’t Wiggle Free
Brook Lynn is tired of being under her grandmother’s control. She wants to break free. She didn’t want to work at Deception but wanted to stay in the music industry. Chase knows this and wants her to pursue her dreams.
He is disappointed that she is not in music and wonders why she is doing something that she doesn’t love to do.
Finally, she comes clean with Chase about how her grandmother helped her and her debt to her grandmother. It felt good to finally be honest and Brook Lynn believes she can be free now. She tells Tracey that she is going to resign from Deception because she is not indebted to her anymore.
Tracey is always one step ahead of Brook Lynn though. She reminds Brook Lynn that she is guilty of corporate espionage. Tracey is the one who demanded that Brook Lynn get this material, but Brook Lynn is the one who downloaded the files and stole from her company.
Brook Lynn really can’t win in this situation. Her grandmother is always going to be one step ahead. She is not above manipulating her family and friends to get her way. What do you think? Does Brook Lynn have any way to get out of her grandmother’s clutches?
