This is a up and down week for ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers as we’re getting plenty of heavy hitting moments with the show officially saying goodbye to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) following the actress’ death in May following a bout with cancer.
Bobbie first graced our screens with her debut in 1977, and since she’s become a favorite on the show.
Her last appearance was at the last Nurse’s Ball, where they had a Bobbie tribute moment in was either coincidental timing or the show knew something already and wanted to do something.
With her passing, there’s going to be a mystery brought into Port Charles by a stranger during the two day funeral on January 10 and 11.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Finishing the story
Bobbie was in Amsterdam wrapping up her brother’s estate, and it appears Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) is going to have one more mystery to his name.
There are plenty of fan theories making the round such as Luke is actually alive and that Bobbie was assassinated to protect that secret.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expects this stranger will touch off this mystery and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and her bestie Felica Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will head to Amsterdam to finish what Bobbie was doing and find some answers.
While it’s unsure who the stranger will be, Soap Opera Digest does have a couple of new additions that will be tied into the mystery across the ocean.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Friends or enemies?
In their adventures, Carly and Felicia will meet Cornelia (Ellie Darcey-Alden) and Famke (Elise Robinson) as they’re going to interact and help with the mystery, but whether that’s to help Carly and Felicia succeed or fail is the question.
There are a lot of ways this could go, and both characters could be working against each other as well, which will lead to the difficult question of who do our heroines trust?
Of course, if Luke is alive and being held, that opens up a whole new set of possibilities and it’d be fitting that he is.
It’d allow him to return to mourn Bobbie and for the actor to say goodbye in his own way. It’d also allow Bobbie to go out a hero in trying to rescue her brother instead of passing away dealing with red tape and books.
This should be pretty fun as they do their own twist on what ‘Days of Our Lives’ did with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) after he passed away.
It’s a cool idea and a good send off that will be remembered for a long time.
