Either he simply doesn’t want to be there, has his mind on other things or something else serious might be going on. A lot of fans couldn’t help but notice that something seemed rather off with Matthew Perry during a Friends reunion promo in which he slurred his speech.
If that weren’t enough, he also appeared quite emotional and had to be comforted by Jennifer Aniston in another trailer for the highly-anticipated reunion special. Here’s what you need to know.
Matthew Perry, who is best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the show, at one point talked about taking pieces from the set of Friends as souvenirs. “I stole the cookie jar that had the clock on it,” he said, with a “sh” appearing to be pronounced at the beginning of the phrase.

Also, while reminiscing on the set of the show, he admitted, “I’m going to cry now,” with Jennifer Aniston putting her hand on his shoulder.
The stars of the NBC sitcom, which ran for 10 seasons, will return to the show’s original soundstage on the Warner Bros. lot “for a real-life unscripted celebration of the beloved show.”
All six members of the original cast – which includes Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and David Schwimmer (Ross) – are set to take part.
While there are a lot of fans who are very excited about the reunion, they are disappointed that some notable guest stars have been left off the reunion’s guest list like Brad Pitt, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, and Julia Roberts.
Instead, other celebrity guests such as David Beckham, Lady Gaga, BTS, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, James Corden, Malala Yousafzai and Justin Bieber will appear.
