Tristan Thompson may be trying to change his ways following his break-up from Khloé Kardashian, but not everyone is taking his enthusiasm the right way.
Fans Blast Tristan Thompson Over His Advice-‘Practice What You Preach’
The star does not have the best reputation when it comes to giving advice. After all, he wrecked his relationship with Khloé after he was caught being unfaithful to her by kissing Jordyn Woods.
This was followed by rumours that he was doing the same thing with other women. To make matters even worse, Tristan was cheating, knowing that he had a daughter with Khloé.
While everyone should be given a chance to reform, being a positive role model from a place of distrust is something that others will not take to very well. And so it showed, as Tristan suffered a lot of criticism in response to his positive advice.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, he remarked: “Want to improve your health, your career, your life? Keep showing up. Keep showing up. Keep showing up.”
This did not go down well with the fans. It is not surprising when there are rumours going around that Tristan is wanting to get back with Khloé.
Although that would be something between him and Khloé to discuss, fans feel that it would simply encourage Tristan to continue behaving in the same way, knowing that Khloé would take him back.
That is why they had some harsh words to say. One fan wrote: “How about improving relationships?” while another stated: “Practice what you preach.” It is true to say that Tristan should be doing better.
One way in which he could do that is to be there for his daughter. This would show Khloé that he is a changed man and ultimately win her trust over. And by the looks of it, he has lived up to that commitment.
An insider stated: “[They] still co-parent well, and he plans on making time to hang with Khloé and True when he’s not playing basketball.” Tristan is certainly saying all the right things, but whether he lives up to them is anyone’s guess.
