Tristan Thompson still holds the utmost respect for his ex Khloé Kardashian following their split.

The duo decided to part ways after Khloé could not trust Tristan fully. He had infamously cheated on her with Jordyn Woods. While she would go on to forgive that, other rumours began to surface that Tristan may have been unfaithful once again. And that was the final straw for Khloé, who called it quits for good.
Having said all that, they are still in contact. A source told Us Weekly: “Tristan is doing well. He has nothing but love for his daughter, [3-year-old True,] and nothing but love and respect for Khloé. They co-parent well together. He’d do anything for his baby girl.” The break-up was a disappointment, as the pair had reconciled after initially parting ways.
However, they could no longer envisage a future together because Khloé could not count on Tristan. Once that bond was broken, they realised that being apart was the best for the two. The source added: “They broke up a few weeks ago. “They remain amicable toward each other and will continue to co-parent [True]. There was no drama. Things just didn’t work out.”
Their admiration for each other was shown just last month when Tristan reached out to wish Khloé a happy birthday. This considerate behaviour was also shown by Khloé to Kanye West when she had celebrated his 44th birthday. And it shows that the Kardashians will still hold those who have left the family in high regard.
In an Instagram post at the time, Tristan revealed: “Happy birthday @khloekardashian. Thank you for being not just an amazing partner, mommy and best friend but also being the kindest, caring, and most loving human being I’ve ever met. I love you so much. Have an amazing day.”
It is wonderful to see Tristan and Khloé happier in their lives after what they have been through together. And who knows, they may be able to find someone to settle down with in the future. And we wish them the best with that, as well as their future going forward.
