False reports of the death of King Charles were spawned by Pro-Putin news outlets and were squashed by the British Embassy.

Buckingham Palace was pressed to make a statement regarding this fake news. The reports perpetrated by Russian news outlets claimed that the monarch died from cancer-related complications.

Several Trusted News Outlets Delivered the Fake News About King Charles

    Russian newswire Sputnik reported,

“King Charles III of Great Britain has died at the age of 75.”

Several trusted news outlets delivered the fake news.

    The Mash media outlet said,

“Britain’s King Charles III has died, Buckingham Palace reports. The son of Queen Elizabeth II ascended the throne less than a year ago. The coronation took place on May 6th, 2023. He was 75 years old.”

An announcement was said to be made from Buckingham Palace,

“The King passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon.”

The British Embassy furiously denied these claims. The News International reportedly started the rumors by announcing  that the royal family was preparing a “major announcement.”

It became the springboard for lies, as Putin reporters falsely stated that Buckingham Palace announced Charles’s death. Adding fuel to the fire, some media news outlets are refuting reports with an odd statement,

    “King Charles Isn’t Dead. Yet.”

Mash later came back with an update, stating,

“The message turned out to be fake while adding this little tidbit, “Let us remember that a few months ago he was diagnosed with cancer. The King of Great Britain is alive and continues to go about his business. At least that’s what Buckingham Palace says. Officials said the same thing after the first news report of the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II. Four hours later an official statement was issued: the Queen had died. What was it, and is everything so rosy for the current British monarch?”

Putin’s Propaganda Machine Responsible for Producing Lies

People are suggesting that Vladimir Putin’s propaganda machine was responsible for producing these lies. Putin is nothing but a corrupt, evil dictator who is desperate for power. His followers are pro-war and out for blood.

Many of Putin’s colleagues contributed to the conspiracy, as Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov’s spokeswoman commented, “London looks pathetic.”  This report is likely in reference to all the hardships that the UK has had to endure ever since Charles was diagnosed with cancer.  Also, rumors regarding Kate Middleton’s health have been rampant online.

Several media and Telegram channels reported the death of King Charles, saying that the news came straight from Buckingham Palace.

The news outlets obviously failed to check their sources. King Charles is still working and conducting personal matters. He is very much alive and continues to receive treatments for cancer.

Clinicians diagnosed Charles with cancer in January 2024. The King has not disclosed the type of cancer he is suffering with. He has been undergoing treatment.

The royal family has been rolling with the punches lately. Princess Catherine had abdominal surgery and has been recovering at home with the help of her husband, Prince William.

The latest scandal was the edited photo of Kate with her children, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte. Everyone freaked over a doctored family photo.

With everything going on, the royals deserve peace and understanding, not cruelty and lies.

Well, here we have it, and again, I am surprised that the news report would be so irresponsible. Tell us what you think about this one.  Use the comment section below.
