Elliot Page is loving his body, as the actor showed off his new look, ever since his recent decision to come out as transgender.
Elliot Page Shows Off His Body After Embracing Transgenderism
The actor made waves with the sudden announcement and has continued to embrace his new-found appearance. This led to further radical changes, as Elliot would go on to make a full transition by undergoing surgery. He was vocal about how he had work done on his breast area in order to feel more comfortable with his identity.
And he made sure that his fans could see the results. In a post to his fans on Instagram, we can see Elliot standing next to the pool as he is smiling. His new figure, and six-pack is clearly visible. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Trans bb’s first swim trunks #transjoy #transisbeautiful.” Fellow stars within the acting industry rushed out in support of the picture.
Justin Cornwell wrote: “Dude, I see why you crushed me on that workout,” while Nina Dobrev said: “You look amazing. And most of all, happy.” Elliot’s journey in embracing his ‘new self’ was not so easy, though. The actor has previously spoken about the battles he had to go through during the early parts of his life.
He admitted to writing notes and signing them in male names in order to feel comfortable with himself. And this struggle was part of a wider identify crisis in his life. In a prior interview with Vanity Fair, Elliot said: “All trans people are so different, and my story’s absolutely just my story. But yes, when I was a little kid, absolutely, 100 percent, I was a boy.“
Nevertheless, there were a subset of fans who questioned his decision. They felt Elliot’s decision to come out was motivated by his desire to garner extra public sympathy. This was, in part, due to raising the actor’s stock within show business.
After all, Elliot has not made waves in the movie industry since his performance in ‘Inception.’ And that was a decade ago. As long as Elliot feels comfortable in his own skin, then that is the most important thing. It is good to see Elliot feeling happy.
