EastEnders Spoilers finds that love is in the air in Walford, and it could be contagious, as Jags Panesar and Habiba Ahmed grow closer over the coming weeks. But, could they be set to become the newest couple in EastEnders?
Jags has been through a lot already this year, and the anger that he feels over his mother’s behaviour will be the reason for them growing together. Jags will feel betrayed by his mother as he has recently found out that she lied about having cancer, and he will confide in Habiba.

Viewers will be aware that Suki Panesar has been lying about having cancer since she arrived in Walford, but the family have only just found out about the revelation. Suki has now been abandoned by all her family, and the whole street has quickly turned against her. Jags will be at odds over what to do next, as he feels guilty turning his back on his mother, but he knows that it is the right thing to do. Next week, Jags will turn to Habiba for support as he looks to move on with his life, but there could be something else bubbling away between them as Jags opens up.

Jags continues to tell Habiba about everything that has been going on in his life, and is surprised that the two get along so well. She just listens to his problems and immediately feels better because of it. Jags then feels comfortable enough to open up about another issue that has been bothering him, but how will Habiba respond? He continues to tell her about a friend of his, who is currently in hospital. He admits that he is concerned about the situation. Habiba begins to see Jags in a new light as he opens up, and the night ends with a kiss between the pair. The following days they realise that they have mutual feelings, but could their relationship be about to progress?
