EastEnders spoilers have revealed that there could be a devastating loss for Mick Carter when the soap returns later this year. The soap has currently been taken off air due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Danny Dyer, who plays Mick, has already teased that there is something big coming for his character when the soap finally makes its return.
It hasn’t been an easy year to this point for Mick, as he has had to deal with a number of huge issues. Mick has been pivotal in his wife’s recovery, and Linda continued to battle with her addiction to alcohol. However, he made the huge decision for them to get through that by selling the Queen Vic in the explosive final scenes before the soap ran out of episodes.
EastEnders Spoilers: Mick Sells The Queen Vic
It seemed as though Mick had no other option except to sell the Queen Vic, as he looks to help his wife get through this difficult time of her life. However, his reason for doing so isn’t just down to him, as he is doing it more so for their son. The final dramatic episode of EastEnders saw Mick hand over the famous pub to Sharon Mitchell and Ian Beale in a stunning twist.
It was believed that Sharon and Phil Mitchell were going to be the characters to buy the illustrious pub, but Ian and Sharon made a deal at the eleventh hour. Now, with his life as a landlord behind him, Danny Dyer has been speaking at length about what could come next for his character when appearing on Secrets From The Square this week.
EastEnders Spoilers: Shock Death To Rock Mick
In the interview, he revealed that Mick hasn’t had to deal with the loss of a loved one for some time and that could potentially be on the cards when the soap returns. Mick hasn’t had to say goodbye to a loved one since Stan Carter passed away, but could there be a stunning death that will rock Mick to the core?
During the interview, he revealed that family is the closest thing to Mick, and that led to fans immediately predicting that the huge death that he has been talking about could revolve around one of his children. It would be crushing for Mick to lose Johnny Carter or any of his sons, and viewers will have to continue watching to see what happens when the soap returns.
