EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Ruby Allen could be set for a new romance in Walford when the soap makes its return. Ruby has already been with a number of the men in the area, but there could be a fresh face that has caught her eye. Viewers will be shocked that Ruby has her eye on a new man, as many would have been expecting her to get closer to Martin Fowler.
There is undeniable chemistry between Martin and Ruby, and it seemed as though the logical next step for them would be to get together. Ruby recently broke up with Max Branning after revealing that they no longer saw eye-to-eye like they once did. But, it’s hard to say that their break-up didn’t have anything to do with Martin.

There was never much hope that Ruby and Max were going to last, especially after Max was asked whether he was Ruby’s father. However, the final straw came when Max got jealous that Martin and Ruby were growing closer, after she offered him a job on security at the club. Max later got his wires crossed as he though that he and Ruby were going to have a date night. However, she was only interested in having him look after the club while she had a night off.
There was a time when it seemed as though their relationship could potentially work, but as soon as they failed to put a label on it, it looked destined to fail. But, with Ruby now free from the relationship, will she have her sights set on someone new in Walford?
EastEnders Spoilers: Could There Be A Shock Romance?
Of course, it would appear as though Martin and Ruby are going to get closer when the soap returns, but with neither of them being interested in a relationship, could Ruby’s attentions turn quickly? Some fans are already predicting that another character may sweep Ruby off her feet.
Some spoilers have indicated that Isaac Baptiste could be the character to come in and swoop her off her feet. It would be an interesting turn of events, but will likely be welcomed by fans. Isaac has been embroiled in a storyline with Patrick with much of the year, and the chance of romance may be something that he jumps at with both hands.
