EastEnders spoilers have reported that fans of the BBC soap may not have seen the last of Keanu Taylor just yet. The controversial character was embroiled in one of the most dramatic storylines in the history of the soap for much of last year, and if the spoilers are to be believed, then he could be set to return to Walford once again later this year.
Keanu narrowly managed to escape Walford alive, as the tensions between himself and the Mitchell’s spiralled out of control when Phil realised that the baby that Sharon was carrying was really Keanu’s and not his. In the ultimate act of betrayal Keanu cheated on his girlfriend with her mother, and the result was nearly fatal.
EastEnders Spoilers: Keanu Manages To Escape Walford
Keanu was flirting with death throughout much of this year, as he was meant to be killed by Martin Fowler on Christmas Day. However, Martin allowed Keanu to leave unharmed. That was something that Phil didn’t realise until later in the year when Keanu turned up to get his revenge on the night of the 35th anniversary special.
Keanu tasted blood and tried to inflict pain on the family by kidnapping Callum Highway and then leaving him for dead. Fortunately, Ben was able to find his boyfriend before it was too later, but that wasn’t before he lost his hearing as Phil tried to shoot Keanu, only for Phil to miss and cause hearing loss for his son. After that night viewers had believed that they had seen the last of Keanu, but he could be set for a stunning return.
EastEnders Spoilers: Unfinished Business In Walford
It could be argued that Keanu has a lot of unfinished business in Walford after hastily leaving after being told by Sharon that she never wanted to lay eyes on him again. Keanu is still the father of Kayden, and may soon return to Walford to form a relationship with his son. However, his return could have consequences.
Phil hasn’t forgotten about what Keanu has done to his family, and Ben may still have a score to settle after he nearly killed his boyfriend. Keanu’s mother on the soap Karen, played by Lorraine Stanley, has admitted that she would welcome his return to the soap, and even teased that it could happen at some point in the future.
