EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Mitch Baker could be about to make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that Gray Atkins doesn’t achieve what he is trying to do over the coming months. Viewers will be aware that Gray has caused no end of heartbreak and pain for Chantelle Atkins since arriving in Walford, and their story could soon be reaching its bitter end.
It has been reported for months that Chantelle could be forced to take matters into her own hands when it comes to Gray, and may have to kill her husband as she is that scared that he is going to hurt her.
But, it does also seem that it is only a matter of time before some of the other characters in Walford are going to learn about what Gray is really like. But, could those closest to Chantelle take the blame so she avoids prison time?
EastEnders Spoilers: Will Chantelle Kill Gray?
Chantelle has been through an awful lot over the past couple of months, but has always believed that her husband will change his ways. It has become more and more clear over the past couple of months that it doesn’t seem as though that will really happen, as he has been getting worse. He has stopped her from working because he is scared of the history between Chantelle and Kheerat Panesar.
Not only that but Chantelle has also been manipulated by Gray over recent months as she now fears that she will not be able to trust anyone, as he revealed to his wife that Whitney Dean tried to kiss him. While he wasn’t lying, it’s hard to see him not playing a part in her actions as he was trying to get closer to Whitney.
EastEnders Spoilers: Will Mitch Take The Blame?
It isn’t hard to see Chantelle being pushed to the edge by her husband, and she may have to take matters into her own hands. It would be a similar twist in the storyline as Coronation Street fans have seen with Yasmeen Nazir attacking Geoff Metcalfe. However, Chantelle may be helped out after making a mistake by Mitch.
Mitch has known for a prolonged period of time that there is something unusual about Gray, and he just hasn’t been able to put his finger on it. Viewers may see Chantelle open up to Mitch about what Gray is really like, and that could persuade him to take the blame for his daughter.
