EastEnders spoilers have emerged that claim that there could be a stunning death when the BBC show returns in September. Nothing quite gets soap fans on the edge of their seats like a shocking death, and EastEnders could be set to throw a stunning twist in as soon as the soap returns to ensure that fans are gripped from the first show back.
The shocking death will likely centre around the ongoing feud between Ian Beale and Dotty Cotton. Fans are already predicting that Ian could be forced to go to huge lengths to keep his secrets hidden and that could mean that he may be forced to kill Dotty to save himself.
EastEnders Spoilers: Dotty’s Reaching Her Boiling Point
Fans of the soap will know that Dotty has been harbouring a secret for almost six months. She has opted to remain silent up to this point, but she could be set to throw a staggering proposition in front of Ian. Long time viewers will be aware that Dotty knows what really happened to Dennis Rickman, and has been trying to use that as leverage against Ian.
So far, Ian has been able to hold off the threats that Dotty has been throwing at him, and refused to budge. He also managed to destroy a huge piece of evidence that highlighted that he was guilty. Ian thought that would have been the end of the story, but new evidence could yet come back to haunt him.

The tensions have been escalated further as Ian has since learned that Dotty and Peter Beale have been growing closer. There is certainly chemistry between them, but Ian will be wary of letting them get closer as she may decide to reveal Ian’s secret to his own son.
Ian could therefore be forced to take matters into his own hands and get rid of Dotty for good. It would be a shocking decision, as Ian has notoriously been one of the cleanest characters in the soap. But, it’s hard to argue that he won’t go to huge lengths to try and keep his secrets hidden, which means a new threat from Dotty could be the tip of the iceberg.
