That’s because there are new reports that indicate Kim Kardashian’s husband Kanye West has suspended his campaign for the highest office in the nation: The President of The United States. Less than two weeks after Kanye announced on Twitter that he wanted to be the nation’s next POTUS, it looks like he’s going to have to put that dream on hold for a while. This comes after reports indicate that Kanye’s campaign team failed to secure enough signatures in the states of Florida and South Carolina in order to get him on the ballot for November’s election.

Get out the Vote specialist Steve Kramer told Fox News that even though Kanye West’s team was working to get things done in both states, the didn’t have enough time to do some of the things that needed to be done, including “formalizing the FEC and other things that they’ve got to do when you have a lot of corporate lawyers involved.”
What’s more, West needed at least 132,000 valid signatures in the state of Florida in less than a week. When one journalist from the Intelligencer tried to reach out to West’s publicist team to confirm his recent efforts, there was no response.
Kramer adds that he feels disappointed that Kanye West has given up so quickly, as he doesn’t have anything bad or anything good to say about the rapper and aspiring politician. “Everyone has their personal decision about why they make decisions. Running for president has to be one of the hardest things for someone to actually contemplate at that level,” Kramer added.
