Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has had a pretty crazy life, and he’s beginning to document it all in his new comedy series ‘Young Rock’ on NBC. However, he posts some pretty amazing images on his Instagram, including one from last night showing an 11-year-old Johnson next to the legendary Japanese icon, Tiger Mask.

He had no idea what this handshake meant to me, considering how much I loved this dude. But what made a real impact on me was how nice and kind he was to this little punk kid.
When “famous” at any level – being nice and kind – that stuff matters and really affects people. Especially kids. Thanks ???
And who would’ve ever thought years later this little afro’d punk kid would grow up to have a TWIN little brother named @brunomars ??????

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Shares A Flashback Photo To When He Met The Legendary Tiger Mask
Johnson had “no idea what this handshake meant to him” at the time, but memories and photographs like this are a time capsule and it’s amazing to see. Towards the end of the post, he describes how his younger self posed a striking similarity to famous singer Bruno Mars, and we have to say, he’s not wrong!
If you haven’t watched Johnson‘s new series ‘Young Rock’, I would recommend it. While it’s cheesy, the casting is perfect and it’s cool to see his younger life growing up under Rocky “The Soulman” Johnson and the slew of wrestling icons that surrounded him.
