It sure does suck when there are a lot of people who think they know you, when there are actually a very few that really do. Royal expert and author Duncan Larcome thinks Prince Harry is desperately trying to convince himself that he’s happy, even though many royal critics believe he is not. Here’s what you need to know.
In an interview with Closer Magazine, Duncan says the Duke of Sussex is “far from happy” because he now lives in the U.S., where people who are content want to make amends and don’t create arguments or criticize people. At least that’ what he believes.

“I believe that, despite Harry’s insistence that he’s happy, he’s far from it. I don’t think he or Meghan are happy,” he told Closer magazine. “Content people don’t create arguments and criticize people – content people want to make amends.”
Duncan also says that Prince Harry is in no position to talk about mental health issues, especially when it is causing so much pain for this family members. Not only did Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle throw the entire royal family under the bus in their interview with Oprah Winfrey, but he recently also criticized his father Prince Charles’ parenting skills or lack thereof.
“[Harry] has now made the royals and the institution his enemies because of that – he’s on the warpath,” he told the publication. “I think what we see and hear from these interviews is a man who is desperately trying to convince himself that he has found happiness, and he has been through it all and reached the other side – that he’s finally free. I don’t think that’s the case. He and Meghan aren’t happy or free. I don’t think his move to LA has solved anything.”
