Dr. Dre has had a hell of a year, and things keep piling on. The 56-year-old music mogul has been ordered to pay his estranged wife, Nicole Young, $293,306 a month in spousal support beginning on August 1st!
He will have to keep paying this amount to Young until she remarries or enters a domestic partnership. Of course, unless the court orders otherwise.
Thankfully for Dre, the $300,000 is a mere fraction of what Young was originally asking the courts for. When she first announced in September of 2020, she was asking for $2 million a month!

Their divorce began last year in June when Young filed. The couple had been together for 24 years and have two children, Truice who is 24, and Truly who is 20.
Dre had already been giving her temporary support just two months after she file!
At an estimated net worth of $800 million, Dre seems to be doing fine. And while $300,000 is such a ridiculous number to all of us, we can assume that Dre will be alright. Especially considering that he’s still working, even after suffering a brain aneurysm.
Young and Dre asked a California judge to sign off on ending their marriage in April 2021, even though they were still working through the details of the divorce.
