Meghan Markle has come under fire from Donald Trump for how she treated the Queen, claiming that she was’very rude’ to Her Majesty.
After the public spat between the Sussexes and the rest of the Firm, the former US President expressed his surprise that Prince Harry had been invited to his father’s coronation.
Trump expressed his excitement for the big day on Saturday when speaking with former leader Nigel Farage on GB News. Trump also gave King Charles his complete support, stating the monarch “loves the country.”
The businessman and politician honored the late Queen Elizabeth II, praising her for going through “years and decades without controversy” and calling her “incredible.”

He also criticized Joe Biden for skipping the Coronation, calling him “incompetent,” and asserted that the US president in office would be “sleeping” at the time. Trump questioned how Meghan handled Her Majesty by saying, “I think she [Meghan] has been very disrespectful to the Queen. How can you be so disrespectful to the Queen?”
Trump didn’t stop there, he continued to say, “You cannot be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful. I was actually surprised that Harry was invited, to be honest.” It’s not the first time that Trump has criticized Prince Harry and his wife; in 2021, he said that Meghan had ‘used the Duke poorly’ and that he didn’t like the former actress.
Farage has been a strong admirer of the former president, attending many of his rallies and defending many of the problems that have dogged the businessman-turned-politician.
Trump is no stranger to taking shots at people and a lot of the time he has a point, whether he is a bit rude or not. It will be interesting to see how Meghan reacts to this because we’re pretty sure she’ll have something to say about it.
