Disney Plus ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ is bringing back Emilio Estevez in his role as Gordan Bombay in a new series! With shows like ‘Cobra Kai’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ not rebooting their respective universes, but rather building on, a new trend has begun!
Now, we won’t get a full-on reboot, but instead, a continuation of the Mighty Ducks story, and hopefully, we’ll see Joshua Jackson return as Charlie Conway and other stars of the original films! Take a look at the new trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

Fans commented on the trailer, “emilio estevez hasnt aged a day… i should eat more salad or something….”, “Bombay still going after the single moms I see… I’m sold.”, “I wonder how many additional cameos they will try to fit in. Would be cool is Joshua Jackson reprised his Charlie Conway role in some way”, “I was like EMILIO! Emilio Estevez, I swear to god!” and “I will never forget: “DUCKS FLY TOGETHER! ?Quack quack quack …” ??”.
The series also stars Lauren Graham opposite of Estevez and from the trailer looks like Gordon Bombay may end up coaching against his old team! Just like he did in the original film. I hope this is great, I grew up with ‘The Mighty Ducks’ and if this captures 10% of that magic, it’ll be worth watching. It’s worth it for Estevez alone!
