UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s team have rejected reports that he got into an altercation with music star Machine Gun Kelly at the Video Music Awards after the latter had apparently prevented Connor from taking a photo with him.

Did Conor McGregor And Machine Gun Kelly Have An Altercation Over A Photo?

Machine Gun Kelly is known for being a huge fan of the UFC. He has regularly been pictured alongside his girlfriend Meghan Fox at numerous events.

While there has been nothing to suggest that he has some feud with Connor, the pair were apparently shouting at each other, as shown by the picture here.

We saw Connor being held back by his security while Meghan had prevented Machine Gun Kelly from getting involved. And yet, Connor’s team rejected these claims.

In a statement given to Us Weekly, his team said: “This is totally false. [There was] no photo request [Machine Gun Kelly] attended Conor’s last fight [and Connor] appreciates all his fans.”

Despite what was coming from Connor’s camp, something did go down. After all, we only have to look at what Connor has said in response. His words do not look like they were of a man who was having a good time.

And he made sure that he bashed Machine Gun Kelly as much as possible. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Connor revealed: “He showed up, and I don’t know. Nothing happened with me. I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy.”

This is not the first time that Connor has gotten himself involved in some controversy. In 2018, he was involved in an incident with Khabib Nurmagomedov where he threw some objects at a moving bus as it was being ridden.

Connor was charged in court and ordered to do community service, as well as attending anger management classes. Connor certainly knows how to make a name for himself, but let us hope that he can make positive headlines, as opposed to this one we have seen. The sooner he gets back to the Octagon fighting for world titles, then the better that will be.
