Britney Spears may just be a married woman now, according to her tiktok page. As of last night she posted a tiktok from French Polynesia asking her followers where they thought she should get married, Greece or Italy, and to leave it in the comments! Hell of a way to ask for a destination wedding, eh?
But not uncommon in the days of social media where people literally have pinterest boards made with bride aesthetics and entire amazon gift registries dedicated to such things. Why didn’t she announce it on instagram first? Because yesterday was the day of the Great Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp outage and she probably couldn’t.

Still, her tiktok followers were in for a treat because they got some premium content that her other social media did not. But the real confirmation has not come yet. She hasn’t fully come out and said whether or not she’s getting married but the way she sounded she was ready to jet from French Polynesia to wherever her followers dictated right after dinner.
(Though she did specify that she did not want her dinner, she wanted dessert now. The good thing is without the confines of her conservatorship (at least without her Father at the helm) she has the choice to have her dessert now if she wants it. (I don’t know how restrictive her diet was under the conservatorship but we all heard the tales of horror from Demi Lovato and her watermelon cakes so we can only imagine.)
The only thing that hints that a wedding could have happened last night is how Britney posted a picture of her topless from the back (perhaps she was at a nude beach?) In a red bikini with the caption, “That’s right I said kiss it!” We don’ t know who, if anyone, that was directed at but we have a feeling we know who.
Britney is finally getting to live her life the way she wants it and we’re all here for it. We did expect the wedding to be a bit more of a traditional affair but at the same time she already had that once,aybe this time she wanted to do something spontaneous and different, and probably something that she didn’t have to include her family on – there’s a lot to be said for legal marriages when you have a toxic family dynamic.
