Does this mean the end is nigh for TikTok stars and influencers? While some people are hoping that to be the case, there’s a new report that says Addison Rae might have just gotten permanently banned from TikTok. However, that permanent ban lasted for just one day. Here’s what you need to know.
Addison apparently took to her Twitter account to let fans know of the ban, sharing a screenshot from TikTok with a message that says “Your account was permanently banned due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines.” “Your account was permanently banned due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines,” the message reads before Addison herself added, “Well time to get a job.”
Did Addison Rae Just Get Blocked Off TikTok?
Addison is one of the highest paid stars on TikTok with earnings of $5 million. She currently has over 85 million followers. As of press time, it’s unknown why Addison was “permanently banned” from her account or if it was, in fact, a mistake on the part of TikTok.
But that doesn’t seem to matter much to Addison as she told Entertainment Tonight back in 2020 that she wants to do more acting in the future.
She told the site, “That’s kind of always been my dreams to, like, be on the big screen…In the next year, I really am pushing to get into acting really hard right now. So I’ve been on a lot of auditions and castings and stuff like that. So hopefully in the next year I’ll be casted in a movie or TV show.”
Just recently, Addison signed a multi-picture deal with Netflix. “It’s a dream come true to say the least,” she told ET. “The experience, every single part of it, was just so magical and something I’ll never forget. It really is hard to put into words and I think I feel like more people can relate to that. In your first debut, you don’t really know how to feel, you don’t know what to say, it’s just so exciting.”
