Demi Lovato made a new fashion statement by showing her fans her latest tattoo.

It is no secret that Demi has a love for all things ink-related, but her latest tattoo has certainly divided the fan base. In the picture here, we can see that Demi has her hair dyed black with a significant part of it shaved off at the side.
And in between the empty gap, a new tattoo is visible as it shows a huge black spider. The post was captioned by the following comments: “By @_dr_woo. Now @alchemistamber come fix my hair pleeeease.”
The news of the tattoo comes just after reports indicated that Demi had gone into rehab just last year.
And it marked a turning point in her life, as she decided to move away from her policy of Californian sobriety whereby she was dabbling in drugs and alcohol in moderation. As such, she decided to cut them out totally.
In a statement at the time, she remarked: “I no longer support my ‘California sober’ ways. Sober sober is the only way to be.”
In light of this news, a certain subset of people began to speculate that Demi was going to have a breakdown by virtue of the fact that her tattoo was totally outlandish.
As such, much in the same way as Britney Spears who had decided to shave her head, people assumed that something was not right with her.
And so it showed in the social media comments that followed. One person on Twitter wrote: “Wtf is this with girl in last 12 months.”
Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following things. First of all, the tattoo came following the inception of the New Year.
As such, it could be viewed as a way of Demi trying to make a fresh start and celebrate what hopes to be a good year for her.
Secondly, in any event, the very fact of the matter is that she had been in rehab last year which is something that she probably wants to forget. One way to do that would be to dramatically change her appearance, thus explaining the tattoo.
