Demi Lovato has quietly completed another stint in rehab according to Page Six who spoke to a source close to the troubled singer.
According to the source, Demi, who concerned fans when they showed off a freshly buzzed head just after Christmas, returned to Utah for treatment but is now back home in L.A. They are reportedly “doing well.”
Very recently, Demi took to their Instagram Story to announce that being “California sober” which means abstaining from all substances except marijuana (and sometimes psychedelics) was no longer how they were going to live their lives.

“I no longer support my ‘California sober’ ways,” the 29-year-old singer and (alleged) alien abductee shared on Insta at the beginning of December. “Sober sober is the only way to be.”
Demi disappeared from social media shortly after and speculation as to where the Sorry, Not Sorry singer had been grew when sister, Dallas Lovato, who featured in the four part supernatural series Unidentified with Demi Lovato, shared a video on Tik Tok of the two, and younger sister, Madison De La Garza reuniting for Christmas.
“When you get exactly what you wished for on Christmas… your sister,” was written over the video of Demi telling their youngest sister, “I tricked you, I’m sorry.”
Now we know Demi was away from her family in rehab, but it is not known at this stage if they relapsed or was simply being too tempted to trust themselves outside of a facility. Perhaps it was merely a “tune-up” the Glee performer needed but at this stage, we will have to wait to hear if Demi makes their latest rehab stint public and gives fans any answers.
Demi is well known for detailing the good, the bad and the ugly of their life. Their near-fatal overdose was detailed in the YouTube documentary series, Dancing With the Devil and recreated in the video of the song of the same name.
