Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers–Drugs and bullying take center stage

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers focus on the issue of drugs. Specifically, the stats discussed at the end of the episode talk about the number of kids who have a parent with addiction. However, we think there are a couple other important things this episode delves into. In another case of starting at the end and filling in the blanks, we learn the story of Eugenia (Luz Ramos) and her son, David. Let’s take a look at how things went down Wednesday night.

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers—Under pressure

This episode was another tough one after Tuesday’s look at verbal/emotional abuse. Eugenia’s struggling as a single mother to work two jobs and go to school at the same time. Problem is, she’s failing on all levels. It’s too much to handle. Her co-worker, Carla, introduces her to the amphetamines she takes for ADD. This is where things go bad. Eugenia gets addicted to them fast and her friend refuses to supply any more, so Eugenia gets something stronger (and more dangerous/illegal) by other means. Things devolve quickly, leaving a lot of pain in its wake.

We think this episode was a good one for a little reflection. She takes these pills because of the pressures on her and how she tries to do too much at once. And doesn’t ask for real assistance—just the pills her friend offered. It reminds us how dangerous and destructive going it alone can be, especially when someone is relying on us.

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers—Craving peace

Another issue is covered here. Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers indicate David is the victim of bullying. It gets pretty bad, as we watch them rig a bucket of what looked like water and pasta to fall on him. He’s miserable, but can’t (or won’t) reach out. The need to be accepted by this group leads him to steal his mom’s stash and offer it up at a party. This choice has terrible consequences we’ll get into in a minute. For now, we think his story is a good lesson in being harder on kids when they cross the line, and a lesson for the adults in their lives to make sure they’re setting the best example possible. Society can get pretty ugly at times. After all, who hasn’t seen ugly comment/post wars online? So, how’d things work out?

Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers—No winners

There really are no winners here as well. Decisiones: Unos ganan, otros pierden spoilers say Eugenia’s decision to start those pills led to her son almost dying. She also ended up in prison for the incident, and we’re sure they found out about her selling as well.

David also lost big. He’s now heading to foster care, in part, because of his decision to bring those drugs to the party. It’s really sad situation. Let’s hope Telemundo doesn’t go for the trifecta tonight.
