‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers here and we’ve been looking forward to this confrontation for a while, but since this is Salem there’s going to be a few twists and turns we wouldn’t see anywhere else.

For starters, no one is really an optimal choice to win custody of their newborn baby, but Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) does have the edge since she is a respected doctor and so is her husband Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Xander and Sloan Ready to Battle Sarah for Custody

Oh, wait, Sarah wants a divorce. Guess their sham wedding didn’t work out like Rex predicted. And Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) kidnapped and had a hand in murdering Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk). Oh, that’s right. Susan’s alive and he refused to kill her when he was ordered to.

She was also the one that ran after Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), which results in Ava taking her and running the car off the cliff.

But Sarah isn’t about facts or she would’ve gotten over that.

Overall, this feels more like something Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) would get herself tangled up in and we don’t envy the judge one but in this one.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: More to come

While this sounds like a bad comedy, “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers think it’ll be anything but as Xander’s furious over Sarah and Rex trying to keep him from knowing he had a child, going so far as to commit fraud on the birth certificate by having Rex named as the father.

Granted, it isn’t fraud in the standard way and they’ll try to play it off as protecting the baby from Xander, despite everyone but Rex and his brother knowing Xander would never put the infant in danger.

What’s going to make this really interesting is Xander’s lawyer is Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty), and she’s good at her job.

She’s also looking to adopt a baby, so maybe Sarah will offer hers to keep it away from Xander? Just kidding. We don’t see Sarah giving away her baby ever again.

Which will put Xander in a difficult spot since he may want full custody, but deep down he doesn’t really want to hurt Sarah.

For her part, Sarah’s going to soften her stance on him when she learns Susan’s alive, which shouldn’t be an issue as we mentioned before.

We’re not excusing what Xander did as it was horrible, but she seemed to be looking for a reason to be angry with him, but she won’t be able to keep it up and we think they’ll be back together by the end of this custody battle.

Are Xander and Sarah destined to be together? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
