‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers relate that some big moves are afoot in Salem, along with some sneaky ones, and a big disappointment for a couple of characters. If you missed all the Days of Our Lives spoilers, we’ve got you covered with your daily Days of Our Lives recap.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Clean Slate Candidate

Looks like Mayor Carver (James Reynolds) might have a little competition in a certain Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). It all started with Jack coming in with some wedding magazines to rub Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) comments behind his back in her face. Seems he doesn’t wanna be used as a weapon, but Eve is ready with her normal excuses.

She shows off the contract from DiMera and tells him that even though it’s her dream job, he’s more important to her. This turns to talk of what they’re going to do, as Eve’s savings and his 10K check from Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) isn’t going to go far. We’re with Jack on this, because it doesn’t look like you have any cheap housing in that town.

Unless they wanna move into the homeless shelter with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). At least, we assume that’s where he is at this point, given Chad fired him. Anyway, Eve desperately tries to steer him away from his idea of going back to the Spectator (wonder why?) and instead tells him about his political past. She says the Mayor gig is up for grabs, and he should throw his hat in the ring. He’s a blank slate, after all, and she’s got big ideas to use that to his advantage on the campaign trail. He gets excited about the idea and runs off to research the issues.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Can’t Con a Con

While all that is going on, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) are trying to figure out how to help Jack get his memory back. Seems the FDA isn’t anywhere near human trials of that magic serum. When Kayla remembers that the hospital likely still has the original diary the serum notes are in, they run to look for it. Unfortunately, it’s not there. We see after Jack runs off to do his homework that Eve is holding what is clearly said diary. Can’t con a con

Leo Stark (Greg Rijkaart) wakes up completely disoriented and alone, wondering where Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) got to. While he’s struggling with a massive headache and trying to get the motivation to get up and look for Xander, Xander himself comes back in the room. He claims he’d been looking for food and goes on to tell Leo about what a great time they had last night.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Leo and Xander, Second Time’s the Charm?

Leo is totally thrown for a loop, thinking that nothing had happened. Xander plays it up great, even adding in how Leo cried during their goodnights, but you know that saying we referenced above. When Xander demands Leo hold up his end of the bargain, he refuses on the grounds he can’t remember a thing. He then insists that the only way Xander is getting that dirt he wants is by doing the deed again right now.

Xander fights doing so, which Leo obviously sees as a sign he’s almost been had. Xander admits to having slipped something in his drink and mocks him for being a lightweight. Leo is obviously not happy and tells him he can forget about getting the dirt that will get the job.

So what did happen? He charmed the pants off Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and she happily went along to try feeling something else than the pain and humiliation her life currently is. When Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) shows up and discovers this, he’s furious and calls her stupid for allowing herself to be used. She argues that she was using him, and Eric’s basically done with their friendship. He later goes home in a tiff, which he informs Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) he doesn’t want the explanation for. Try again.

You might remember from yesterday that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is now being handed the CEO job at Titan. Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) comes downstairs while Brady’s going over some papers and discovers this. He thinks it’s a good move. We’re guessing Xander, who follows shortly after, doesn’t agree based on the look on his face when Brady tells him. We wonder if he’s regretting going along with Leo’s demands now…
