Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) may soon remember that she’s the one who shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuereigel).
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rachel Has Snuck Off To Visit Kristen In Prison Before
The ten-year-old may decide to catch an Uber and go visit her mom, Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk), in prison.
During one of Kristen’s numerous prison stays, Rachel was savvy enough to arrange transportation so she could visit her mother.
There is no telling the type of trauma and emotional turmoil Rachel will endure once she recalls pulling the trigger on her uncle.
Rachel has a history of running away. It’s not hard to imagine she would perform a vanishing act. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) would obviously be determined to find her.
It would leave them frantic trying to find her. The last time she pulled this stunt, she cried until the guards allowed her to come into the prison visiting area to see her mom.
Rachel may be determined to speak with her mom. She would try to convince her to tell the truth. Even though Rachel is only a kid, she’s not going to want to see her mom take the fall for her.
Not to mention, Brady could tell Rachel that he doesn’t want her to see her mom anymore. It would send Rachel over the edge.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristen Made A Desperate Confession At Johnny’s Trial
Brady already threatened Kristen when he visited her in jail. He told her that he would make sure she’d never see Rachel again.
It was hard to watch that scene knowing that Kristen is innocent and only trying to protect her young daughter.
Brady would be shocked that Kristen is actually very selfless when it comes to Rachel. Kristen even earned Marlena’s admiration, a feat that is not easily accomplished.
If Brady tells Rachel he doesn’t want her to see Kristen anymore, the words would cut through Rachel’s heart like a knife. It may trigger Rachel to recall the tragic events of that fateful evening.
Spoilers hint that when Rachel remembers shooting her uncle EJ, the fallout will be massive. Kristen would no doubt plead with her daughter to keep quiet.
However, Rachel would probably insist to her mom that she won’t let her go down for a crime that she didn’t commit. It’s a heartbreaking situation with no easy answers.
Kristen has vowed not to let her daughter suffer. She’s already made the ultimate maternal sacrifice to confess. She arrived in the middle of Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) trial after EJ demanded she find a way to save his son and Rachel.
‘Days Of Our Lives Spoilers’: Child Protective Services Could Still Remove Rachel From Her Home
Kristen was desperate and didn’t want to see her daughter hurt. Additionally, there is no guarantee that Rachel wouldn’t be forced to separate from Kristen anyway. Child Protective Services could take her.
CPS has been investigating Rachel’s case for years and has threatened to remove Rachel from her home before.
It’s surprising to us that Rachel hasn’t been taken away by CPS already, considering her mother allegedly committed the attempted murder of her brother. Kristen may not have considered that.
It wasn’t that long ago that Rachel was upset when her dad started dating Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Little Rachel conspired with her own grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), to hold Ava hostage at Aremid.
Brady and Kristen were already deeply concerned by their daughter’s troubling behavior. They tried to get her to attend therapy sessions with Marlena.
Instead, Rachel’s parents kept her actions under wraps. However, Kristen is also likely worried that Rachel could end up in a mental facility, which has the potential to perpetuate her trauma over shooting EJ.
That said, since Rachel is a bit of a wildcard, she could run off to see Kristen and confess if she remembers she’s the true culprit.
