‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have been waiting for the other shoe to drop that’ll bring an end to Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty)’s baby stealing plot, and it looks like it’s going to come curtesy to one of the show’s super fans.
Connie (Julie Dove) returned to get in Melinda’s face when Sloan was venting about how she feels like Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)’s second choice to his son.
After her first appearance was cut, she previously appeared as Li Shin (Remington Hoffman)’s date and is a true crime aficionado. Connie was a little off putting at the time, but now she’s back and has a bone to pick with Melinda over her using Li.
Now how far she’ll take her current fixation is anyone’s guess, but we expect it to be fun to watch.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Melinda’s the target
Since it’s impossible not to have someone not eavesdrop in Salem, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers would consider it a miracle if Connie wasn’t listening in to Melinda and Sloan’s conversation and taking some notes.
It seems too perfect an opportunity for the show to pass up since everyone else is at peace and moved on with their lives.
It’ll also give Connie the chance to start talking with Sloan and buttering her up to get the dirt on Melinda.
We don’t think Sloan will give her up. but it’ll be hard for her to hold her tongue with a former client, especially if Connie catches her at the right moment.
Of course, this plays into the fact that the writers tossed out all of Sloan’s growth since being with Eric to return her to how she originally was, and that’s a waste in our opinion.
As it stands, we think Sloan will be happy to come clean and roll the dice on keeping Eric or not.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Melinda is the key
We think it’d be a pretty cool twist to see how far Melinda and Sloan’s friendship has grown, and it’s possible both will be willing to fall on their swords for each other.
Out of the two, Melinda may be the better choice initially since she won’t want Sloan to lose her family, but Sloan will appreciate everything she’s done and her guilt won’t let her do it.
In the wings, Connie will be there putting the pieces together and then sharing them when the time is right and do the maximum damage to Melinda.
There’s also the chance that she’ll also want to protect Sloan, and may rework what she learns to take Melinda down and Sloan will defend her friend.
