There’s nothing like a fun redemption storyline to warm ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers’ heart, and we’re enjoying watching Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart)’s unfold.
Leo’s long been a favorite of ours with his roguish wit and charm to go with his flexible morals.
He always steals the scene and makes us smile and laugh at something he does, but recently he’s been turning over a new leaf and it’s fun to watch.
Redemption storylines usually work out very well as Salem like to keep chaos in season, but ever since he delivered Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker)’s baby, he’s been changed and he continuing to change and grow.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Breaking the mold
Leo first came to Salem as a con man and hustler, but he always had a certain quality about him that made us smile and want to see more of him.
Over the years he’s grown into a regular character and had a couple of great moments like saving the world, albeit accidentally, and finding a way to be a pain in the backside for everyone.
But as much of a grifter as he was, he always had a soft spot for the people of Salem even when they didn’t believe him, and we’re starting to see more of that come out.
From writing his awesome article on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to writing what’s bound to be another great piece about the Hortons and their history with Salem, he’s slowly letting go of his old ways.
Of course, there’s always a price to pay.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Always a catch
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers are waiting for him to achieve his goal and bring Nicole’s baby back to her, but it’ll come with a terrible price he hasn’t thought about yet — his role in keeping silent.
Sure, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Sefaty) will take the fall along with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), unless Melinda sacrifices herself for Sloan, but when everyone learns Leo knew and didn’t say anything… Oh boy.
Any good will Leo built up will quickly be lost when everyone learns he knew Sloan had Nicole’s baby but didn’t do anything about it.
But there’s a chance there are some that will forgive him. We think they’ll be few and far between, but they may be enough to convince him he needs to keep working on turning his life around.
This is a fun storyline to watch and we’re Team Leo all the way. Do you think Leo will prove everyone wrong and become a good citizen of Salem?
