‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Reyes Is Similar In Appearance To Cherie Jimenez
We all know soaps love to SORAS their legacy children. If you’re not familiar with the term, it means soap opera rapid aging syndrome.
For example, a character is one day a child, and the next day they are suddenly a troublemaking teenager.
In a recent Instagram story posted by Dan Feuerriegel, who plays EJ DiMera, he shared a fun photo featuring Marrissa Heyes next to Cherie Jimenez and Al Calderon, who plays Gabi and Rafe Hernandez’s cousin, Javi Herandez. Feuerriegel is hanging around behind them.
Reyes has been seen in numerous images on social media with the Days cast, which has sparked speculation that she’s part of the show.
She is similar in appearance to Cherie Jimenez and could be Gabi’s daughter. There have also been some rumors circulating that an older version of Arianna will soon join the soap.
We predict Arianna will return in teenage form as the actress looks to be in her 20s and Leo Howard, who plays Tate Black; Holly Puzemis, who plays Holly Jonas; Peyten Meyer, who plays Doug Williams III, and Rachel Boyd, who plays Sophia Choi are all in their 20s, yet they are part of the teen scene in Salem.
Behind the scenes, leakers have also admitted fans should expect a SORAS Arianna to come to town at some point.
Arianna certainly has plenty of ties to Salem as she’s Gabi and Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) daughter. She’s also obviously related to Rafe and Javi and is Sonny Kiriakis’ (Freddie Smith) step-daughter.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Arianna Was Named After Gabi’s Late Sister
Arianna was named after Gabi’s late sister, Arianna Hernandez (Lindsay Hartley). She was tragically killed by Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny) in a hit-and-run accident.
The expansion of the Hernandez family has livened up the show, and the more, the merrier.
Javi’s pairing with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has been a hit, and having a core Hispanic family on soaps is rare but dignifying for the Latin community. Arianna’s presence would amplify that.
Arianna has been staying with Will and Sonny in Arizona. However, all arrows point to her arrival in Salem in the coming months.
Gabi’s likely missed Ari a lot, and a long-term stay in Salem would strengthen their relationship. It would also be interesting to see Gabi try to handle a teenage daughter.
Teenage soap characters tend to come with a lot of drama and difficulty. Gabi might be perplexed as to how to approach raising a teenage girl.
It’s also possible Gabi was a handful herself when she was younger and may know the best way to advise Arianna.
There is also significant buzz that if Ari does return, she may catch Doug’s eye, especially if Holly eventually gravitates back to Tate, which we all know is inevitable.
Reyes may be stepping into the role of Arianna, and Gabi would be overjoyed to have her daughter with her and make Salem her new home.
