‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for some happily ever after for one of our favorite characters.

With the turmoil surrounding the show’s cast and the writers changing so many characters, we’re happy they left Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) alone.

Or maybe the actor is taking creative control and having a say?

Whatever the reason, it’s great to see Leo and EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) remain themselves and standout.

We’d just like to see Leo have a happy ending for one.

We get that characters need to earn their redemption, but the writers ramped it up when Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) pushed Leo into Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte)’s arms.

Why Javi was surprised after ignoring Leo for two months. In the end, he got what he wanted, so he has no complaints. He just had to make Leo feel like it’s all his fault. Again.

It opens the door for a Leo and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) relationship. Let’s dig into this idea.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Leo continues facing abuse

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers love Leo. He’s tied with EJ as our favorite character and we love how much he’s grown the last few years.

That being said, the writers aren’t doing him any favors by tearing him down again and again.

He was finally becoming the good man he always envisioned himself when Dimitri returned. We expected it after EJ threatened Leo’s life to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).

She saved Leo’s life by doing this as a distraction, though it appears the writers have forgotten that tidbit.

When Dimitri arrived, Javi’s insecurities pushed Leo away, urging him to work through his emotions. This was after Leo stood by Javi and pledged himself to him.

    It wasn’t good enough.

Fortunately for Leo, it showed him Javi isn’t good enough.

This could lead him to good old Chad.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Beyond Salem is the key

Why do we think Chad would be perfect? Let’s go back to season one of Beyond Salem. During the quest for the Alamanian Peacock, we got an interesting glimpse.

Leo helped arrange a drag queen show to help Chad, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), and Will Horton (Chandler Massey).

During it, Chad reacted very defensively to dressing in drag and jokes involving him and Sonny.

He was so defensive it made us feel like he and Sonny have more of a past than they’ve admitted.

We think it’s highly likely Sonny and Chad had a period of experimentation and Chad is afraid to come out.

Since he and Leo have become good friends, there’s always the chance that Leo could help Chad open up.

Chad wouldn’t treat Leo like Dimitri and Javi do, and it’d be fun to see Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves)’s reaction.

This is obviously just our speculation, but what do you think of a Chad and Leo relationship? Let us know in the comments below.
