‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers suggest that once Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) is rescued from the DiMera crypt along with the others, she’ll face some shocking news about Rachel Black (Alice Halsey).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kristen Doesn’t Know How Much Trouble Rachel Is In
Kristen will certainly be cleared of all charges, but she’ll be distraught to learn that Rachel is in a mental facility. Rachel is also very traumatized by her memories of shooting her uncle, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Rachel landed in Bayview after her little ice cream trick on Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey). The child found out that Sarah is deathly allergic to pistachios.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Rachel were at Brady’s Pub, where they ran into Sarah, and Rachel decided to take advantage of her knowledge and order a pistachio ice cream sundae.
She took a spoonful of her ice cream and mixed it into Sarah’s sundae. When Sarah took a bite, she experienced a severe reaction and had to go to the hospital.
While Brady and Rachel were waiting on word about Sarah, Rachel confessed to her father that she was the one who shot EJ, not her mother.
Brady realized that Kristen went to prison to protect their daughter. When Kristen is finally rescued from the crypt, we think Brady owes her an apology.
We have no doubt that Kristen will demand Rachel’s release from Bayview. She may pull her powerful DiMera strings to get Rachel out of the hospital.
It’s possible that Brady and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will fight her on it. Kristen is a good mom, despite all her faults.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia Is a Negative Influence On Rachel
She may even visit her daughter and get the sense that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) is nothing but trouble.
DOOL spoilers hint that in the December 10th episode, Sophia will trick Rachel into doing something as part of her own agenda.
Kristen may request that Marlena counsel Rachel instead so that she can come home and be with her mother. Yet, Kristen doesn’t understand how much help Rachel needs. Another good option is to send her elsewhere.
Kristen may even be livid with Brady over putting Rachel in Bayview. It’s a place where many of Salem’s most notorious criminals end up.
We can’t imagine any world in which Rachel remains at Bayview once Kristen is back. Not to mention, a lot of people need to admit to Kristen that they were wrong about her.
Rachel does need mental health intervention. However, there may be even nicer places outside Salem that would be a better fit for a kid like Rachel.
Bayview is obviously a disaster. Sophia is in the same mental facility as Rachel, and presumably Connie Viniski (Julie Dove), who last year blew up the DiMera tunnels is in Bayview as well.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Rachel Needs to Be around Kids Her Own Age with Mental Health Issues
Connie almost killed Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). She also killed Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and framed Gabi for the crime.
The “necktie killer,” Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), and Whitley King, the woman who poisoned the cupcakes delivered to the set of Body and Soul, were all criminals who have passed through the halls of Bayview.
Rachel needs to be around kids her own age with mental health issues who may end up being a positive influence over her, depending on whether they are complying with treatment and trying to get better.
Rachel was horrified when Brady left her at Bayview, as any kid would be. She’s already coping with so much trauma.
Kristen made a huge sacrifice for Rachel’s sake. She should have a say in Rachel’s care and be involved in helping her little girl heal.
