‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers finds that there’s a new ‘manny’ in town in Salem, and he’s already put the moves on Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith)! Who is this guy and where did he come from, exactly? His name is Evan Frears. He’s played by Brock Kelly, and you may have even seen him around before, why back in 05 and 06 he played a guy named Josh who worked at a coffee shop and dated Abby DiMera (Kate Mansi).

He’s also been on other shows such as, The O.C., Supernatural, and Ravenswood. Evan came on the scene on November 19th as a ‘manny’ hired by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to take care of little David Ridgeway. He came just in the nick of time too, Arianna was in need of some advice, as was Sonny, he provided both and then proceeded to ask Sonny out to dinner. Sonny declined, but not because he wasn’t interested, in fact later when he ran into Evan in the park, they did end up sharing a meal together.

‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Who is Sonny Kiriakis and where did he come from, exactly?
While they chatted over their meal, they slowly got to know each other. Sonny admitted that he’s not exactly in a good place right now, he’s still dealing with the fact that his husband Will Horton (Chandler Massey) killed his Mother, Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) After that admission, they made plans to get together again. Evan even came over for Thanksgiving at the Kiriakis mansion and while it was just a smidge awkward by the end of it they became closer by reflecting on the events of the day. The next day, when Sonny returned Evan’s scarf to him, he was invited in for a piece of pie. They seemed to be vibing pretty well until Evan crossed a line and planted a kiss on Sonny, who immediately backed off. He apologized for the sudden move, but it looks like Sonny just isn’t ready to get back in the saddle again.
When asked if they were dating later, by Rafe Hernandez, Evan said no but that he was definitely into Sonny, and Rafe warned him then that while Sonny was a great guy, he came with a lot of baggage. Truer words have never been spoken, bro! So what’s actually in the cards for Sonny and Evan? Right now it’s all up in the air, but I’m willing to bet that when Will Horton realizes that his husband is being courted on the outside by this new guy who just breezed into town, sure he may look cool as a cucumber but this one’s going to burn. Especially if Evan tries to really sweep Sonny off his feet like I totally expect he will. Who will Sonny choose? Stay tuned!!!
